Nike Air Max 1

The first Nike Air Max, the first sneaker ever with visible Air, was launched and came onto the market with flashy red and white colors in March 1987. This first Air Max sneaker version was the result of some experimental tests by Frank Rudy who was looking for the ideal cushioning. Thanks to, amongst others Mark Parker and Tinker Hatfield this experiment evolved into one of the most popular and successful sneaker series ever. After the release of the Nike Air Max 1 many other Air Max models were launched the following years. Since the start we have always had a true passion for Nike Air Max 1 sneakers and we would like to share this passion with all of you by adding as well brand new as fancy old AM1 models on NikeAirMax1.com.
