Nike Air Max 1 Essential – Sail Arctic Pink

Nike Air Max 1’s are released more and more often as ladies editions. Or: Nike Air Max 1 WMNS. These WMNS then release in the Premium but also in the Nike Air Max 1 Essential collection. The newest release within the Essential collection is the Nike Air Max 1 Essential – Sail Arctic Pink. And with the first look you’re already pretty sure this shoe is meant for women because this shoe is sweet! Sweet as candy, icecream and sweet words and songs.

Pretty in pink

The Nike Air Max 1 Essential – Sail Arctic Pink is the most pink shoe I have seen in a really long time. But still it’s a tough one. Why is that? Is it all because of the looks and image of the Nike Air Max 1 design?

The shoe has a black rubber sole. On top you find the comfy mid-sole where the pink air-bubble is placed in the heel. The mid-sole is in really soft pink so you would almost mistake it for white. Then around the shoe you find a path of bright pink leather an for the upper of the shoe Nike used a light babypink kind of leather. The Nike swoosh is white, just as the laces and the mesh on the toebox and around the ankles.
